A month ago, after buying Ark: Survival Ascended, I searched for suggestions about the settings, and based on these suggestions I decided to disable “Use Singleplayer Settings”. Then I changed many of the other options to make the game more enjoyable for single player and for me.
These settings means raising a rex takes 2 hours, 10 imprints for 10% each at 11 minute intervals, and a dodo takes 18 minutes with 1 imprint for 100%. Personally I have mine set to x100 and 0.0116. That means 1 hour to raise a rex and 1-2 months of breeding for alpha boss fights. The intention behind this change was to soothe the Single Player and Non-Dedicated experience to make it more approachable for those playing in smaller groups.
