Tivo remote not working with new batteries.

My TiVo Roamio remote was working fine before. After changing to a Fire TV today, the volume and input buttons stopped working. I did remote reset and TiVo reset but still not working. I also replaced batteries with new ones. When I press the TiVo button and TV/Power button simultaneously, red light and amber light alternates quickly.I mean, HDMI causing the RF remote to stope functioning.
